Britney Spears is no chicken when it comes to indulgence on fast food.

The 31-year-old pop star was seen leaving a KFC restaurant in Thousand Oaks, Calif. carrying take-out on Tuesday, reported Mail Online.

This may send mixed messages to fans who were following her doing a shoot with a fitness magazine just that day.

After the shoot, Spears tweeted "@Shape_Magazine Thanks for the great photo shoot today! It was fun to get all dolled up for the cover!" before heading to KFC for some fast-food adventures.

Shape magazine is a monthly publication featuring diet and exercise tips to help readers lose weight and stay healthy.

Spears, previous X-Factor judge, posed in a casual style, wearing a loose white top and denim shorts displaying her tanned legs and flip flops. She was seen just that day at a Starbucks with her boyfriend, golf lover David Lucado, according to the report.

Things seem to be getting serious between the two as they spend hours together partaking in outdoor activities and running errands

The Baby one More Time pop star ended her engagement to Jason Trawick in January after a three-year romance, although she recently admitted she will 'always love' the talent agent, Mail Online reported.

Following the split with Trawick in January, Spears began dating Lucado earlier this month.
