The Flash's Cisco Ramon might be the key to bringing Zoom back to Earth-1.

Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is hell-bent on reopening the breaches, but, considering his trip to Supergirl's universe is still to come, the speedster is currently at a loss. A new photo from "Versus Zoom," however, indicates that Barry's BFF will factor into the equation.

Seen standing near the site of STAR Labs' original breach, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is either practicing for a Star Wars cosplay, or Vibe is finally ready to take his powers to the next level. Reverb introduced his E-1 doppelganger to the world of sonic blasts, and it looks as if the entire Zoom (Teddy Sears) situation will push Cisco to dip his toe into the metahuman deep end.

Seeing into the past, present, and future is one thing; capitalizing on his villainous doppelganger's dangerous powers, however, will have Valdes' character on edge.

"Cisco has a deep fear of the power becoming Vibe could have, [and we'll be] covering that in upcoming episodes," Valdes said at Chicago's Heroes and Villains Fan Fest earlier this month.

In the wake of "Flash Back," Team Flash is one step closer to tracking down the Jay Garrick/Hunter Zolomon/Zoom hybrid that is their season 2 nemesis. Once the tachyon device is complete, Zoom's decision to juice with V9 will be completely irrelevant.

That's not to say The Flash doesn't have a lot of ground to cover over the next six episodes. For instance, how are there three Jays? Who is the Man in the Iron Mask? What ever happened to Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker)? We could go on, but you get the point.

Sadly, fans will have to wait until April 19 for answers. The CW series is on yet another brief hiatus, but "Versus Zoom" is the light at the end of a three-week long tunnel (see a preview below).

Catch The Flash Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
