He's currently trying to find Carol (Melissa McBride) so he can hopefully bring her back to Alexandria, but Morgan (Lennie James) could wind up getting taken down as one of the Saviors' targets on the season six finale of The Walking Dead.

In a sneak peek clip for the April 3 episode, a haunting black screen is shown, where whistles similar to the ones that were heard in the woods before Glenn (Steven Yuen) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) were captured are heard again—before a scene that flashes to Morgan.

In the scene, things seem peaceful enough as he continues to walk through a field, coming across a sign which reads "You are alive" before finding a horse, which makes him believe even more in his positive mantra about all life seeming to matter, even in this new and twisted world.

"Hey, hey boy. Oh, you're fine," he says in the clip as he approaches the horse. "You are fine, yeah. Hey, come here. You are alive."

However, unfortunately for Morgan, he won't be alone in that field for long, as the one Savior Carol didn't kill when she encountered some on the road has been following him ever since he and Rick stumbled across the scene as well. The man is hell-bent on revenge—and if he goes after Morgan and manages to overtake him, he and the rest of the saviors could have a perfect hostage again to tease Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of the survivors out, and take them hostage as well.

Negan and the Saviors want revenge for the raids on their compound, which killed several of the men in the group, as well as the murder of the other group which had captured Carol and Maggie (Lauren Cohan). Now, if they can get a large number of Alexandria's core people in captivity, and Negan has the ability to kill at least one of them in a brutal way, the price for going against him will have been paid—and a war will definitely begin.

The Walking Dead season 6 finale airs Sunday, April 3 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
