With the AVN Awards taking place earlier this year, two of its winners opened up on life as a married porn couple.

On Monday, The Sun posted details from Anikka Albrite and Mick Blue who became the first married couple to win male and female performer of the year at the racy ceremony in 2015. Blue ended up winning the same title this year as well.

While they might be successful in their X-rated ways, the public has been pretty harsh on them.

"People on Instagram are the worst," Albrite said. "They make comments as though because of what I do I don't deserve to be loved or have a happy healthy relationship."

Blue pointed out how there is a double standard in what people think is okay for men vs. women.

"The biggest negative is the stigmatism in society when people find out," he said. "The stigmatism for girls is bigger than for guys. If a girl does it, she is a whore."

The couple may be having hard-core sex with others in front of cameras, but that's not the life they have when they're not working.

"There was this part of me that was very hypersexual, and before I got into the industry I didn't have an outlet," Albrite said. "Then I got into this industry and I have this life, but when I come home all I want to do is be with Mick."

As for how long these two plan on staying with the porn industry, they'll do it until they don't want to anymore.

"We are both used to it and it's basically our lives for now and we encourage each other to excel in it and enjoy it," Albrite explained. "We will stay as long as it makes us happy."
