Royce Reed, formerly of VH1’s Basketball Wives Miami, has buried the drama with the father of her son, NBA star Dwight Howard, after an ugly custody battle rocked their ability to co-parent.

The two were feuding for the last eight years in drama that included him suing her for more than $500 million and her calling the police on him several times. But they were finally able to put it all behind them for the well-being of their son, who’s 8. It looks like their families had a hand in them finally coming together and talking about their problems versus going off about them on social media. They both promised to stop fighting and agreed that that is what’s best for their child.

An insider told TMZ Thursday, “They decided to stop hating each other and made a promise to their son they would get along.”

Reed also confirmed the news on Instagram Thursday after she shared a video of Howard and the child together.

She added the song, We Are Family and the caption, “We are #Family” and fans are all for it.

“Royce=The definition of a real grown mature woman.”

“This has to be one of my favorite posts ever from you…”

“So happy for you guys. God is so good. Coparenting is always the best way to go.”

“I never comment but I just couldn’t scroll without saying something. This is beautiful! Continued blessings!”
