LeAnn Rimes extended an olive branch to Brandi Glanville days ago.

After feuding for years, Rimes revealed she and Glanville, the ex-wife of her current husband, Eddie Cibrian, were in a healty place.

"It's time to forge a new path," Rimes announced over the weekend on Instagram. "On my page any nasty comment about @brandiglanville will be deleted and not tolerated. Any hate period will be deleted. Stop the comparison, Stop the hate. Stop the trash talk. Brandi and I are two separate people who are on our own paths, but working toward the same goal of a healthy, happy family. Stop creating a narrative that doesn't exist. I have fallen short many times myself, but I'm working every day on creating peace and neutrality. Please join me in this. Please join us on this."

"I truly understand what I was taught as a child, if you don't have something nice to say - shut it!" she continued. "There is no perfect mom or stepmom. We are both doing our best. Leave it be and let's spread some love."

The following day, Glanville spoke out during an interview with The Daily Dish.

"I think we're realizing that it's all about the kids. It's not about us," Glanville explained. "And there's no point at this point to bicker about silly things because they're together, happily married. I'm happy and single, but with the kids, so we don't have to have a rift between the three of us. There's no point. We have to come together for the kids and we're really working on that. And I'm happy about it."

Glanville also revealed she maintained a close relationship with Cibrian's parents.

"At the end of the day, his parents are still my in-laws. I love them madly," she said. "They will always be my in-laws. My parents were just here and wanted to see them and it was kind of awkward because I'm like, 'I don't know how I want to approach that because they used to be best friends.' But the kids are really happy because they realize that my parents are good friends with [Eddie's parents]. It's all about the kids and we're all figuring it out as we go. But I think we're coming to a better place."
