The Legends of Tomorrow are ready to embark on an entirely new adventure.

Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and his ragtag team have come a long way in their fight against Vandal savage--both emotionally and temporally--and their battle will come to an end in the season finale. Once the immortal is dealt with, those who survive the title fight will have a new set of problems to deal with.

"It's probably unsurprising to hear that they will have to go to the ends of time itself to take down Vandal Savage," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told Entertainment Weekly. "It's been a year-long journey for the audience and for the team. We've posited him as the worst big bad that any of these shows have come up with. It's going to take all of them and maybe a sacrifice here or there to be able to stop him."

Wherever the Waverider is heading next, Suits Patrick J. Adams will be there. The actor's character will make his debut in "Legendary" and will continue to crop up throughout season 2. While his identity remains a mystery, there is one thing we know for sure--according to TV Line, the newbie will come equipped with a cape!

Billed as a hero, the character will present "a fork in the road" and a "glimpse of the show to come, which is going to be a lot different."

"I can say the finale feels like a climax," showrunner Phil Klemmer told TV Guide. "This series was always meant to be something that we could never [repeat] themes [or] stories [in]. We always meant to leave it all on the field and burn all of our bridges so Season 2 would effectively have to be a totally new premise and a totally new setup
