Norman is about to speak man-to-man with the sheriff who married his mother on Bates Motel.

On Monday, the series' Twitter page unveiled a sneak peek where Norman makes a visit to see Alex to discuss what his plans are for taking care of himself.

When Sheriff Romero invites the main character into his office, he asks him how he's feeling. Norman says he's been doing much better and the facility has been "wonderful" for him. But, of course, he is still not quite where he should be and it's pretty doubtful he ever will be.

Norman then expresses his gratitude to the sheriff for marrying his mother and how beneficial it's been for himself and for Norma. But there's something else up his sleeve that sounds suspicious-- he accuses Alex of marrying his mother for the insurance.

So Norman decides he'll get his own insurance and he can pay for it by working somewhere else besides the motel. And once he gets that straightened out, then the plan for Alex is that he and Norma get a divorce.

The sheriff tries to convince Norman that things change and that's just a part of life. As right as he may be, Norman sees the exact opposite and says some things will never change-- in his case, that's probably true.

Norman continues his speech by telling Alex that he was helping his mother out during a time when she was "confused" and "vulnerable."

Alex is getting to the point where this is going too far. Whatever happens next, Norman doesn't seem the least bit worried about where this battle can lead up to.
