Is there a reason why Dakota Johnson attended the Met Gala by herself this year? That's what fans can't help but wonder as the 50 Shades Darker star, who plays Anastasia Steele in the film, went solo to this year's event, leaving her co-star Jamie Dornan behind to film scenes of the movie by himself in Vancouver.

Although, during an appearance on Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night, Johnson, who wore a stunning Gucci gown to the fashion event, says that she didn't have a great time, mostly because someone stole her dinner.

She said, "I don't know what happened - you're supposed to eat at the Met but I went to go pee and when I came back my lamb chop was gone!"

When Colbert admitted that he didn't go to bed until at least 3:30 a.m. that night, Johnson responded with, "Did you really? Wow, no I was fully in bed before that. I did (go to the after parties) but I was so hungry... and I guess everyone was hungry."

But as far as why Dornan wasn't there, Johnson didn't give any indication as to whether or not he was invited. Dornan's own wife, Amelia Warner, is currently in London with the couple's two children. Dornan and Johnson are expected to remain in Vancouver to film the next few installments of the 50 Shades films for the next few months.
