Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber may not be dating, but they just reached a major milestone together.

Nearly two months after Bieber took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of himself and Gomez, along with the word, "Feels," that photo has become the "most liked" photo on Instagram.

"The 22-year-old singer has the new most-liked picture on Instagram as of Wednesday, and it's a old throwback photo that he posted six weeks ago of him and his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, making out in a pool," AOL reported on Wednesday.

The photo "surely reached its newly-achieved pinnacle of Instagram by appealing to the nostalgia of Bieber and Gomez fans alike that want to see the two stars rekindle their romance," the outlet noted.

And adding to Jelena fans' excitement was the fact that Gomez liked the photo and reportedly left a comment for Bieber, which read, "Perfect." She was also seen days later at one of his shows in Los Angeles, further hinting that a reconciliation was possible.

Prior to Bieber's photo nabbing the title of "most liked," it was his longtime friend Kendall Jenner who held the title with the photo below.

Both Bieber and Gomez have stayed mum on news of their popular pic, choosing to instead focus on their tours and upcoming events.

As Bieber is currently in the midst of his Purpose World Tour, Gomez' own tour, the Revival Tour, begins later this month.

While Gomez and Bieber appeared to be on the cusps of a reunion just weeks ago, their interest in one another appears to have fizzled out after Gomez's tour appearance and they have not been seen since.
