Fredrik Eklund and his husband are getting ready to start a family together and as their baby plans continue, the Million Dollar Listing: New York couple is getting acquainted with their new homes.

In addition to a single family home in Connecticut, Eklund and husband Derek Kaplan have moved into a New York City apartment, which the real estate agent claims is perfect for dinner parties.

"Wait till you see the rest of it, O-M-G!" Eklund told The Daily Dish after sharing a photo of the home's bathroom on Instagram. "It's just something we've been working on for a long time and years in the making."

"We bought that [as] new construction and then the building took a while to be finished. We had the first dinner party last night, I had my birthday dinner. I had six of my closest friends over, and I looked around the table and looked around the apartment, and for the very first time in my life, I felt I'm living in my dream home," he revealed.

"We were laughing so much and I remember when I was younger I used to laugh at least once a day until I cried, you know when your stomach hurts," he said. "I need to remind myself to do that at least once a day. But last night, I was crying laughing. It was an amazing dinner."

While Eklund and Kaplan were expecting twins last year, their surrogate suffered a tragic miscarriage, which Eklund opened up about on the show.

"Maybe because we're two guys, but since all of this happened I realized it's a subject that a lot of people go through and for some reason [keep quiet about]," Eklund later said. "I think it's because when it happens to you, you feel flawed or broken. I can only imagine if you're a woman and that happens to you in a relationship it's even worse, because this wasn't my body and still yet I'm so sad and upset."
