Girl Meets World season 3 is ready to shake it up.

The Disney Channel dramedy is in the midst of filming for it's third season, and, as now that production has passed the midway point, the series' writers are ready to dole out a few teasers. Dubbed the "season of feelings," Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya's (Sabrina Carpenter) first year in high school will flip the status quo on its head.

"And that's out season of growth," the writers teased following March's "Girl Meets Legacy." "Next: a season of feelings and how they affect us, how we learn to control them or not."

The Maya/Riley/Lucas (Peyton Meyer) love triangle is heating up, but, as viewers will soon learn, it's not as simple as everyone through. The trio will quickly learn their geometric flirtation is not as equilateral as they we're led to believe. Is the triangle really a rectangle, or is there another twist in the works?

"Season 3: 4 episodes to adjust to high school, 4 episodes resolve the not triangle, 4 episodes to adjust to each other," the scribes teased on Tuesday. "People will change people."

The season will open with "Girl Meets High School: Part 1" and "Girl Meets High School: Part 2" at some point in June. While various sources have sited the premiere date as June 27, this is unconfirmed and highly unlikely considering the following promo promises a weekend debut.
