Don't worry, NCIS fans. Tony DiNozzo won't disappear into the sunset without giving Tiva 'shippers a little something special.

Michael Weatherly will bow out of the CBS drama this Tuesday, but his well-planed exit will bring the Ziva (Cote de Pablo)/Tony romance back to the forefront. De Pablo's actual physical absence won't keep writers from tackling the Tiva relationship head on.

"Her presence in the final episode, I think that audiences will feel very strongly that she's in the episode in a way that might be a little Shakespearean but it's real," Weatherly told E! Online. "I think it's going to be a very exciting time for the fans of that relationship."

Last week's "Dead Letter" left viewers with their hearts in their throats, and "Family First" will pick up in the wake of the a potentially devastating explosion. As the final hour begins, Gibbs' (Mark Harmon) team will have their hands full attempting to locate their former coworker.

"Tony's relationship with Ziva absolutely will have an impact on his reason to depart," showrunner Gary Glasberg told E! Online. "There's no part of Tony DiNozzo that Ziva David isn't a part of. She's a huge aspect of who his character is so it would be unfair and wrong to write this episode, to produce this episode and not have her character be a part of it."
