Could Katie Holmes be expecting a baby while single?

According to a new report, the 37-year-old actress may be welcoming her second child alone after her rumored boyfriend, Jamie Foxx, "panicked" about taking the next step in their relationship.

On Wednesday, a source spoke to OK! Magazine, via Hollywood Life, claiming Foxx suggested Holmes postpone their wedding after growing concerned that they were moving to fast, and in response, Holmes decided to “cancel altogether!”

“Everything was going so well,” the magazine's insider revealed. “But with this latest development, it’s understandable that Katie would start to feel insecure about the relationship. And she definitely wouldn’t want to raise another child on her own, as she’s been forced to do with Suri since she left Tom [Cruise].”

The report claimed Holmes was four months pregnant with her and Foxx's baby girl, and while Holmes reportedly called off their wedding, the insider said Foxx planned to stick by her throughout the pregnancy.

“They love each other and everyone says they are really good together,” the insider explained. “Katie just has to get over this stumbling block. It’s the first real issue they’ve had, and while it’s a big one, it shouldn’t be a deal breaker.”

Holmes and Foxx were first linked in 2013 when they attended a Hamptons party where they were caught dancing together. However, rather than confirm their relationship, Holmes and Foxx have steadily denied they are an item, despite being caught together a couple of times.

In addition to being caught holding hands at a studio last year, Holmes and Foxx recently stepped out in nearly identical bands on their engagement finger, which prompted a number of rumors regarding their relationship status.

"Katie and Jamie have both been spotted wearing matching gold bands on their wedding fingers in recent months, so it’s been speculated that they’ve actually already married in a low-key ceremony," Hollywood Life noted.
