Brandi Glanville is teaming up with LeAnn Rimes' ex-husband, Dean Sheremet, for an upcoming cooking competition show called My Kitchen Rules, but luckily, they aren't doing so out of spite.

During a new interview, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star opened up about her relationship with ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, and his wife, Rimes.

"I am no longer married to Eddie, so I don't have to get his permission to do anything," Glanville explained to E! News on Friday. "And vice versa for Dean."

"Yeah, we have open house tonight I'll see them there, yeah," Glanville reveals. "We're good right now."

"It ebbs and flows. Right now, we're really good. In the past it's been really hard and bad but we're both trying right now, especially with the kids getting older, to be a proper, modern family."

Last month, Glanville revealed things between her and Rimes had been improving.

"I think we're realizing that it's all about the kids. It's not about us," Glanville explained to The Daily Dish. "And there's no point at this point to bicker about silly things because they're together, happily married. I'm happy and single, but with the kids, so we don't have to have a rift between the three of us. There's no point. We have to come together for the kids and we're really working on that. And I'm happy about it."

"At the end of the day, his parents are still my in-laws. I love them madly," Glanville continued of the reason behind their sudden friendship. "They will always be my in-laws. My parents were just here and wanted to see them and it was kind of awkward because I'm like, 'I don't know how I want to approach that because they used to be best friends.' But the kids are really happy because they realize that my parents are good friends with [Eddie's parents]. It's all about the kids and we're all figuring it out as we go. But I think we're coming to a better place."
