They were trying to work through their long-standing problems with one another by going to therapy, but it appears it may not have actually helped Janelle and Meri out as much as their family would have hoped on Sister Wives.

In a preview clip for the Sunday, May 22 episode, the two begin to see their tensions resurface as they clash over the plans for the holidays, and see themselves having very different ideas about how to plan the family's major Thanksgiving celebration.

In the clip, Janelle is stunned when she goes to help with the decorations, just to find out that Meri has gone ahead and done much of the work on her own, without waiting. And naturally, this will present an issue for Janelle because she'll feel as if she was once again not consulted on things and left out, even though she thinks Meri did a nice job with what she put together.

"I'm swimming a little bit because...I really wanted to be more in on the planning part, but I'm conflicted because I like what she's chosen," Janelle says. "It sort of feels like the project's getting away from me now, like it's becoming more Meri's project."

However, her concerns will be brushed aside by Meri, who will claim that she thought she did the right thing, because in the past, Janelle has never really felt herself to be a big decorator, whereas she has, meaning she felt it would be fine to just take control and actually do everything for herself.

"Janelle really has been a self-proclaimed not-a-decorator," Meri says. "I think with her just coming over and seeing all the stuff that I have, it really is just overwhelming to her."

Now, the tension could cause the two to wind up back in therapy again, if they are going to actually let their problems still be an issue, and invade the other relationships within their familial structure.
