While NeNe Leakes took a break from filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta full-time for season eight, she has opened up about whether she plans to return for season nine.

Leakes made an appearance at the Ultimate Women’s Expo over the weekend at Georgia World Congress Center. She played coy when asked about whether she will start taping as a regular cast member again after a conference goer dubbed the last season a “snoozefest” without her.

“Season nine?” Leakes asked. “Uhhhh… ‘Housewives?’ Uhhhh.. You gotta wait for them [Bravo]to announce it. I can’t announce it. I would be in so much trouble if I made the announcement,” Leakes said, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Still, the fan urged Leakes to at least give a “maybe,” which she did.

“We’ll see,” she added before teasing another possible shakeup with the cast.

“I think you guys will be surprised by who’s coming back and who’s not coming back.”

Leakes is the only co-star who has been on the show for all eight seasons. She took a break after having several fallouts with nearly all of her co-stars including her good friend Cynthia Bailey, in season seven.

Still, Leakes shocked all of her co-stars when she made her return toward the end of season eight. And while the fan called it a bore without Leakes, there was certainly more than enough drama to go around in her absence from Bailey and Porsha Williams getting into a fist fight to Kim Fields and Kenya Moore sparking a feud.
