Girl Meets World had big shoes to fill, and they're doing so in style.

Boy Meets World's next generation spinoff dropped its season 3 premiere date on Monday, and the announcement came with an epic surprise - an updated version of the '90s opening sequence!

Riffing on Cory (Ben Savage), Shawn (Rider Strong), and Topenga's (Danielle Fishel) college years, Girl Meets World's Riley (Rowan Blanchard), Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), Lucas (Peyton Meyer), and Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis) teamed up to recreate the iconic credits. I mean, who can open a show without fire escape hijinks, innocent kisses, and plenty of dancing?

Check it out!

It will be another four years before Maya and Riley pack their bags for university, but the BFFs will start high school this June. The two-hour season 3 premiere, "Girl Meets High School: Part 1 & 2," will hit screens starting on June 3 at 8:30 p.m. ET. The second half will air June 5, also at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Just like its predecessor, the Disney series will up the game (and the laughs) as its stars leave middle school behind.

"Relationships aside, BMW went to high school and a bueno show got better. Scripts in, same happening here," the writers teased. "More Zay, more Smackle, more Josh."

Jumping into a whole new school won't be easy, however. Riley and Maya will spend the premiere fighting the crowds in hopes they won't be separated in their new world.

"Season Three. First show tonight," the Girl Meets World writers teased in February. "'I hear friendships can come apart in high school. That couldn't happen to us, could it?'"

Once the quartet gets their bearing, viewers can expect the following episode:

Episode 3: "Girl Meets Jexica"

Episode 4: "Girl Meets She Don't Like Me"

Episode 5: "Girl Meets Triangle"

Episode 6: "Girl Meets Upstate"

Episode 7: "Girl Meets Ski Lodge"

Episode 8: "Girl Meets Permanent Record"
