A new winner was crowned on Dancing With the Stars Tuesday night, with Nyle DiMarco pulling off a victory over Paige VanZant and Ginger Zee.

The competition was tough all season long, but it was DiMarco and his partner Peta Murgatroyd that nabbed the coveted Mirrorball trophy at the very end. VanZant and her partner Mark Ballas were announced as the runner-up couple while Zee and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy came in third place.

This was the second DWTS victory for Murgatroyd, who previously won with Donald Driver in season 14.

"I owe it all to him," Murgatroyd said, of DiMarco. "He's just incredible.

The Dancing With the Stars finale was filled to the brim with performances. After the epic opening number that included all 12 of this season's couples, we got musical performances by Pitbull, Aloe Blacc and Fifth Harmony.

Another highlight was Fleur East's performance of her song "Sax," which featured Kim Fields and Sasha Farber dancing alongside this season's female pros.

The night also featured the 24-Hour Fusion Challenge. As seen in the above video, the finalists had to fuse two different dances together, creating a routine in just 24 hours. DiMarco and Murgatroyd and VanZant and Ballas received a perfect 30 out of 30 for their performance while Zee and Chmerkovskiy received a 27 out of 30.

The results were revealed in the final minutes of the show, with DiMarco and Murgatroyd receiving the beautiful Mirrorball trophy.

And thus ended another memorable season of Dancing With the Stars. The show will return for its 23rd season this fall Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
