Rihanna Drake: Is Nicki Minaj The Reason They Aren't Together? [VIDEO]
While Chris Brown is said to be still stuck on Rihanna, rumor has it that Nicki Minaj could be the reason Rihanna isn’t getting serious with rapper Drake.
“There’s no way in the world Drake can commit to any one woman when Nicki’s posting pictures of herself…The woman is a brick house and Drake would love to live in it! An insider told Hollywood Life earlier this week. They also claimed Drake has taken screen shots of Nicki’s social media photos.
“Rihanna’s got everything a man could ask for: personality, drive and ambition, attitude, money… Nicki’s got all that too. But what Ri doesn’t have is a body like Nicki’s. It is what it is. Drake loves them thick, and his heart beats faster and faster every time he sees Nicki in person,” the source added. “He enjoyed Rihanna twerking on him on stage. That was fun. But when Nicki does, it’s a whole different type of experience.”
Still, no one can deny the chemistry between Rihanna and Drake. Not even Drake himself. Despite what the source had to say, Drake revealed that he actually hasn’t spoken to Nicki in quite a while. It looks like it’s thanks to Drake’s beef with Nicki’s longtime boyfriend, rapper Meek Mill.
“She dealt with me how I would expect her to—with class,” he told Zane Lowe of Beat 1 recently. “I always have respect and love for her. Unfortunately, we haven’t spoken.”
But as for Rihanna, Drake gushed about their latest collaboration of Too Good from his newest album Views, which comes after the success of Work off of her Anti album.
“[I was like] I think I have one that would follow this one up really nicely. It was like a flawless victory when she sent it back. Every nuace, every cadence was perfect… That’s what makes the record.”
He also shut down speculation that they’re just chumming up their connection for cameras and blogs.
“We’re not forcing some story on people. A lot of the music and energy we have is genuine. We have a genuine energy.”
