While Tamar Braxton’s firing from The Real is still extremely shocking, her husband Vincent Herbert might not be surprised.

Herbert, who actually had a producing role on the show, is said to have been fully aware of the issues the network was allegedly having Braxton before she was given the boot.

“He knew they were having problems with her and he shielded Tamar from a lot of what was being said and done,” an insider told The Daily Mail amid the whirlwind of news Tuesday. “But in the end his producer credit on the show was more about vanity and less about control.”

Apparently Warner Bros. was adamant about getting Braxton off the show after she displayed an attitude that they could and would no longer deal with. Still, the source said the network “wanted to work out an exit agreement with Tamar that wouldn’t make viewers aware she was being fired.
Despite wanting to free themselves of her, they wanted the transition to take place smoothly.”

Interestingly enough, that definitely could have happened considering the show is on hiatus until it returns for season three this August. But the insider continued and said Braxton jumped the gun.

“Before they could hammer out a joint statement and an agreement that was good for both parties, she posted a cryptic message about betrayal and an unnamed person who she feels ‘stabbed’ her ‘in the back’ after she ‘stupidly trusted’ on Instagram. It’s that type of impulsive behavior and lack of self-control that is why she is off the show.”
