While her various roles on FX's American Horror Story have changed her life, there is one aspect of the show she's not necessarily happy about.

Paulson was interviewed alongside many of the most successful actresses on television for The Hollywood Reporter recently, where they addressed double standards in Hollywood and much more.

The AHS star opened up about one thing that seems to have irked her about the series over they ears.

"I think very little has changed," she said, when asked how things have changed for women since the '90s. "What's maybe changed is the fact that there's more of a conversation happening about it, but I don't know that there's been that much forward motion. I mean, I haven't had a female director on American Horror Story in the six years that I've been on the show."

This may be a startling fact for many, considering how female-friendly the show has been since its inception. Luckily, showrunner Ryan Murphy has made a vow to hire 50 percent women, people of color and those in the LGBT community for future projects. Paulson's fellow interviewee Kerry Washington said this was an "amazing" commitment, to which Paulson replied, "Yes, it is."

Paulson also discussed how she's willing to do just about anything on American Horror Story, as fans have seen over the years.

"Obviously not," she said, when asked if there was anything that would cross the line for her as an actress. "I've done a lot of crazy s- on [American Horror Story]. I've breast-fed a 35-year-old. I've had two heads. So, there's really nowhere you go, 'I will not do that.'"

It is still unclear if Paulson will in fact return for season 6 of American Horror Story, though chances are likely. Murphy did say at this year's PaleyFest panel for the show that Paulson was invited to come back for season 6, though he did not officially say she was returning.

American Horror Story season 6 airs this fall on FX.
