Shocking new allegations have emerged concerning the patriarch of the Brown family from TLC's Sister Wives.

According to sources, Kody Brown is seeking a fifth wife to add to his family, and in his most shocking move yet, the bride he is eyeing is extremely young, especially compared to Meri, 45, Janelle, 47, Christine, 44 and Robyn, 37.

"He's definitely seeking another wife," Robyn's friend, Kendra Pollard, says.  

"He's been looking for more than a year. He's wanted someone really young, like 19 or 20. And she has to be attractive and thin," a second source said, adding that another woman would only increase the tension amongst the women, who are already miserable with their polygamous relationship. "As it is now, there isn't enough love to go around."

However, regardless of it might make his wives feel, Kody sees adding another woman into the mix, especially one who is still of a good child-bearing age who can give him even more children, as a great way to ensure the family still makes money from the show and doesn't find themselves getting canceled by TLC anytime soon.

"He knows that teasing intro of a hot new wife at the end of this season would give people a reason to tune in," the source says. "And for the network to renew the series."

The family has been plagued by scandals over the last couple of years, starting with the news early last year that Kody and Meri, his first wife and previously the only legal marriage, had divorced so Kody could legally marry Robyn and adopt her kids from a prior relationship. Not long after, news also broke that Robyn was pregnant with her second child with Kody, a daughter named Ariella May.

Then, later last year, Meri's emotional affair with someone she believed was a man named Sam Cooper online, was exposed after it came out that her new love interest (whom she was allegedly planning to leave Kody for) turned out to be a catfisher names Jackie Overton. The fallout from that affair has been the primary focus of the show's current season.

Sister Wives airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on TLC.
