They've been going strong for several months now and even though they've both proclaimed their love for one another, Gwen Stefani isn't ready to marry her boyfriend Blake Shelton just yet.

And that's because there are reports that say the chart topper wants to make sure that her three children--Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo--are on board with the idea before she makes Shelton their stepdad.

According to Hollywood Life over the weekend, the blonde beauty is being extra cautious about the next step she takes with Shelton just because it's a decision that will not only change her life, but her children's as well. She pulled the plug on her marriage to her soon-to-be ex-husband Gavin Rossdale last summer after over ten years of marriage.

And even though she feels like she's on top of the world with Shelton by herself, Stefani is afraid that her kids are not ready for yet another major transition in their lives.

"[Gwen] definitely tells her kids what's going on and runs things by them all the time," one source told the site. "She wants their wellbeing accounted for, and if and when she goes through another marriage, she wants the kids to be on board. They really like Blake, but she definitely wants to make sure they're okay, since the divorce is still very fresh for the kids."

There was also another rumor that said Shelton had proposed to Stefani by hiding a diamond ring in the bottom of a bucket of KFC friend chicken, but she said no.
