Katrina Kaif hasn't said a word about her break-up with Ranbir Kapoor-- until now.

The Bollywood actress graces the cover of Vogue India where she pointed out how she's been silent ever since she and Kapoor called it quits earlier this year. Clearly, she doesn't need to bring it up and she has her own reasons why doing so is not a necessity.

"All Cancerians are guarded to a certain extent," Kaif said. "That's just the way it is. It's also just about being a girl."

Considering that a relationship takes more than one person, the actress noted how if she gives all the dirt, then eventually she may have to switch some of her words out.

"[It involves] another person who is not in your control," she said. "Which means, you are going to be speaking for yourself and for that other person, constantly making changes and updates, you know?"

Kaif is also someone who has to be more cautious when it comes to people she can rely on in the movie industry because some things could happen that one may never expect.

"I think I no longer make friends in a way that I am too attached or dependent on people," she said. "This is the film industry, this is a place of work and sometimes we mix the personal and the professional too closely."

Kaif then opened up on how she is invisible from the world of social media although that could change someday.

"I fear I might get into a war of words, constantly clarifying myself," she said. "I guess there is a positive and negative side to it. But it is something I say I have been thinking of doing for a while."
