Agents of SHIELD's Inhumans are in a bit of a bind.

The Secret Warriors banded together for one amazing episode, but with Daisy (Chloe Bennet) in the wind, Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) in the ground, and Joey (Juan Pablo Raba) MIA, Yo-Yo Rodriguez (Natalia Cordova-Buckley) is the last man standing. Nevertheless, SHIELD's Inhuman taskforce will rise again. Perhaps this time their mission will reveal the speedster's true purpose.

"They're in the world, but right now they're not banded together in any way," executive producer Jed Whedon told Entertainment Weekly. "There's always hope in the future."

For now, it looks like Yo-Yo will be kicking butt all by herself. Lincoln revealed that all Inhumans gain their specific powers to fill and evolutionary need, and we'll hopefully get a chance to find out exactly what Elana's grand mission is when season 4 debuts.

"Her purpose is to get beers from the fridge, really quickly [before they get hot]" Mitchell joked at MCM London.

"We do love Yo-Yo as a new addition, though, to the team," Elizabeth Henstridge (Simmons) chimed in. "She's super cool and just a new kind of type of character. Natalia, who plays her, is just an awesome addition to the cast. I'm sure that her purpose will be revealed.

When season 4 begins, the Inhumans might have a new brand of powered people to deal with. According to Whedon, Terrigen mist won't be the only way to get a little superhuman boost.

"Now, some of our people do have powers and some of them don't. Next year, with the advances in technology, we might be asking the question of, "If you can have this, do you want it?" And a little bit of be careful what you wish for," the writer told The Hollywood Reporter. "That's about as specific as we can get."
