The second season of Netflix's Bloodline was released on May 27 and with many people finishing up their binge-watching, some are wondering whether a season 3 is in the works.

Even if Bloodline's second season has come and gone for many viewers, there is already a desire for more. Putting this in question, though, is the fact that Netflix has yet to renew the Florida Keys drama for a third season.

Florida offered huge tax incentives for shows like Bloodline to film, but now those incentives are ending in July. And with the Florida Keys location being integral to the show's plot and feeling, that complicates things even further.

Luckily, there is a new report that may provide a tiny sliver of hope. The companies Found Remote and Parrot Analytics recently teamed up with a mission to determine the top 5 "most in-demand" digital series from week to week, and there's good news for Bloodline fans.

The most recent report shows that Bloodline was the most popular digital series based on average Demand Expressions for the week of May 26-June 1. According to the companies, Bloodline was twice as in-demand as the second most popular series for the week, Orange Is the New Black. Of course, this is almost entirely due to the second season being released in that timeframe, but with such a high demand overall (14,953,139 to be exact), Netflix has to be happy with the show.

Netflix does not release official streaming numbers, but considering Bloodline has arguably become one of the streaming company's most well known series, it seems relatively likely that there are discussions between top executives about keeping the show going. The biggest hurdle at this point, though, is the tax incentive issue.

For the time being, you can watch the first two seasons of Bloodline on Netflix now.
