Willa Fitzgerald had a lot to say about the second season of Scream.

On Tuesday, Hypable released an interview with the actress who plays Emma on the MTV series. As more twists and turns come to light this year, the actress mentioned it's a "killer season," which sounds pretty accurate thus far.

Fitzgerald also revealed one character in particular that she hopes won't be killed off.

"It would be really hard to lose my mom," the actress said. "There aren't many familial relationships on this show, and yet Emma's mother is the source of so much to the show's mythology. It would be really strange to lose her."

As for the romance between Emma and Kieran, it's more than safe to say that they still haven't hit a point where they can have a healthy relationship even if they're working it.

"However, after everything that happened last season, they are both coming into the relationship with a lot of baggage," Fitzgerald said. "There will definitely be some big ups and downs over the course of the season as they deal with issues of trust and communication."

There is also the matter of Audrey's relationship to Piper, the killer in Season 1. Based on how things have been moving along, it appears that Audrey could be a potential accomplice. But whether she is or isn't, Fitzgerald is hoping she'll turn out to be one of the good guys.

"I want her to be innocent," Fitzgerald said. "I feel like there's still so much to explore in their relationship. I don't want it to be over!"

At this point, pretty much anyone could be a suspect in this bloody game.

Scream airs on Mondays at 11 p.m. ET on MTV.
