The first Big Brother 18 Veto ceremony is over and the intended target for eviction still thinks he has the votes to stay.

Head of Household: Nicole Franzel

Nominees: Bridgette Dunning, Jozea Flores, and Paulie Calafiore

Other houseguests: Bronte D'Acquisto, Corey Brooks, Da'Vonne Rogers, Frank Eudy, James Huling, Michelle Meyer, Natalie Negrotti, Paul Abrahamian, Tiffany Rousso, Victor Arroyo and Zakiyah Everette

Paul won the Power of Veto and elected to use it on himself. Considering he was put up as the third nominee by RoadKill winner Frank, that meant Frank had to secretly nominated someone else in his place. That person was Bridgette, who is merely being used as a pawn. While Bridgette was initially upset about being nominated, she was assured by many of her fellow housemates that she is safe.

One of the houseguests comforting Bridgette, ironically, was Jozea. The young makeup artist is very confident that he will not be evicted on Thursday, telling Bridgette that they have the votes to evict Paulie. However, a majority has secretly formed and they all want Jozea out. As it stands now, the following people will be voting to evict Jozea on Thursday: Corey, Da'Vonne, Frank, James, Michelle, Tiffany and Zakiyah. Considering there are 11 people voting, this is a clear majority.

Considering the majority has essentially made up its collective mind on who's being evicted Thursday, talk has turned to who to target in the coming weeks. While the majority, which also includes Nicole, has agreed on targeting Paul and Victor soon, another name came up quite frequently Sunday on the live feeds: Bronte.

Nicole has expressed her desire to target Bronte next, because players like Victor will always be a target for the guys in their majority. Ironically, Bronte is on Frank's radar as well. Frank said that he would nominate Bronte and Victor if he were to win HOH.

Meanwhile, Bronte and Paul seem to be developing a bit of a connection, as of Sunday. The two interacted several times over the weekend, and some are speculating that something might be happening between them.

As of now it looks like Jozea is going home on Thursday, but anything can happen in the Big Brother house.

Big Brother 18 returns with a new episode on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
