There was a huge difference on the set of Bloodline between season 1 and season 2.

Linda Cardellini, who stars as Meg Rayburn in the Florida Keys drama, spoke recently on how things felt different on set when they filmed season 2.

"Last year, we began the series with family-there's a bonfire, and people singing and dancing, and playing volleyball. That was our introduction to each other," Cardellini said in a new interview with Deadline. "Then this year, there's all of this isolation that we feel with each other; our relationships are all fractured. There is a heaviness to all of it, and an intensity and anxiety that needs to maintain at a certain pitch."

Season 2 did begin with the Rayburns more fractured than they've ever been, a trend that continued further by the end of the season. There was also a big difference for Cardellini in the scenes she got to play, with Meg becoming a little more careless and independent in season 2.

"Meg's always so much a part of everybody else's story, but to have her own storyline going in its own time and its own place was really fun to shoot for me," she said, of her scenes set in Meg's job in New York. "I think she changes the most from the first season to the second. She drinks a lot more and gets a little more out of control-those scenes were really fun to play."

Meanwhile, it is currently unclear if Bloodline will return for season 3. Netflix has yet to renew the series as tax incentive issues in Florida may prove to be a problem. Also, Netflix does not release ratings for its shows so there's no way of knowing if Bloodline is one of the most watched original shows on Netflix or one of the lowest.

The first two seasons of Bloodline are available to stream now on Netflix.
