Jennifer Garner is reportedly planning to host a fundraiser for the residents of West Virginia.

Following catastrophic floods in the actress' home state, a report claims she is headed back home to help her parents and the others who have lost their homes, cars and other possessions.

“Jen wants her parents in Los Angeles, but they refuse to leave their home, which has been destroyed,” an insider told Radar Online of Garner's parents, Patricia and Bill, who still live in Charleston, W.V., where Garner grew up. “Jen’s parents are in a hotel because at home they have no electricity.”

“Jen was planning a relaxing vacation to West Virginia, but it looks like she’ll forego that to plan a fundraiser there instead,” said the insider.

Aside from her soon-to-be ex-husband, Affleck, Garner is said to be teaming up with her childhood friend, Senator Corey Palumbo, in an attempt to raise funds for those affected by the tragedy.

While Garner currently resides in Los Angeles, she's always spoken highly of her hometown.

“I’m always so happy to come home,” Garner once said. “There’s never enough time. Just seeing the mountains, and seeing the green, and the river is the most soothing thing in the world for me.”

In other Garner news, the mother of three is in the midst of a divorce from Affleck, and a report last week claimed things between them were getting messy.

“Jen swears up and down that nothing in the press about the state of their relationship is out there because of her,” a source told Radar Online, adding that Affleck, who was accused of sleeping with their former nanny, simply “doesn’t believe her.”

“Ben thinks Jen doesn’t want to expedite the divorce because she is having so much fun creating stories herself,” revealed the source.

But does Garner have something to hide?

“She definitely has skeletons in her closet that no one has looked into because everyone has been focused on the negative attention she’s drawn to Ben’s demons,” said the source. “Still they have agreed to call a truce on making each other look bad. Jen promised to keep a tighter leash on what she and her team say from now on.”
