'Basketball Wives LA' Season 5: Explosive Trailer Shows First Look [VIDEO]
The ladies of VH1’s Basketball Wives LA are back (well some of them) and we have the first look at what’s expected for the highly anticipated fifth season.
The network dropped the first teaser for the new episodes earlier this week.
While it is only 15 seconds, there is more than enough drama jam packed into it that gives fans an idea of the issues that will go down this season.
Malaysia Pargo throws shade and tells cameras, “You bring a friend, you bring a friend, you bring a friend…”
It’s possible she was throwing shade at the new cast.
While Draya Michele decided not to return to the series, many of the women from last season are back: Shaunie O’Neal, Tami Roman, Brandi Maxiell, Jackie Christie, Malaysia Pargo, and Angel Brinks, who first came on the show as Draya’s friend. Mehgan James also did not come back after she joined the series in season four.
Christie is still facing drama with her co-stars as she tells one, “I’m done with you.”
Maxiell also makes it clear she isn’t going anywhere; despite her run-in with Shaunie O’Neal last season that almost ended with Maxiell getting the boot.
They all attend in an event in which Maxiell asks Christie, what “the goal tonight” is.
Christie quickly responds, “Don’t go to jail.”
It looks like she doesn’t stay too far away from going behind bars as she gets into a physical altercation that lands with her on the floor.
