New York might be known for its big fireworks display every Fourth of July, but San Diego, California is making sure they come in at a close second for 2015.

The sunny Southern California paradise will have several fireworks spectaculars throughout the county, but the biggest show is without a doubt set to be the Big Bay Boom in the heart of Downtown San Diego.

The show, which can be viewed live on both Fox 5 (San Dirgo) and KTLA 5 (Los Angeles) begins at 9 p.m. over San Diego's Mission Bay, with Fur different barges launching Fireworks over the water, and those located in the city can get several premium viewing locations around the area, with prime spots at Shelter Island, Harbor Island, north Embarcadero, Marina District, Seaport Village/South Embarcadero, and the Coronado Ferry Landing.

A map of locations for the show can be found here.

Big Bay Boom won't be the only show available in the area however, with several other nearby cities also providing great Fireworks entertainment. Also taking place in San Diego will be the Sea to Shining Sea Fireworks show at Sea World San Diego, the Ocean Beach show at Ocean Beach Pier, and a firework free celebration at Old Town State Historic Park.
