It is no secret that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is one of the most hyped games of the year. As a follow-up to the original DBX game that was released a few years back, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has some pretty big shoes to fill. If the newest trailer for the game is any indication, the upcoming game will definitely deliver, and then some.

What was particularly interesting about the new trailer is that it showed various aspects of the game's mechanics, as well as the different playable races that games could choose. Indeed, if the trailer has shown anything, it is that the upcoming game would be far more expansive, customizable and flexible than its predecessor.

In fact, gaming website Nerdist was able to do a hands-on demo of the upcoming game during the recently-held San Diego Comic-Con. According to the testers of the game, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has managed to take practically everything that was great about the original title, and improve it some more.

Of course, for a Dragon Ball game to be considered as a success, it must have a flawless combat system. After all, over-the-top fighting is the very heart of Dragon Ball. This was captured to a pretty good degree in the first Xenoverse title, where open-world fighting was possible and power moves straight from the manga and anime were featured.

As it turns out, the upcoming game improves the game's fighting system further, with Bandai polishing up the animation to each of the featured characters' moves. As a result, fight scenes in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 are extremely fast-paced and seamless. If any, it really does give the impression that players are controlling their favorite characters from the manga or anime.

The world of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has also gotten a lot more expansive in the upcoming game, with speculations stating that the title would feature a world that is up to seven times larger than what was featured in the original DBX game.

Overall, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is looking to be one of, if not the, best anime-themed game that would be launching this year. The game is set for release on Oct, 25 for the Sony PlayStation 4, the Microsoft Xbox One and PC.
