Despite all fingers initially pointing at Finn (Michael Easton), the mystery behind whoever was walking the halls of the hospital and drugging both patients and doctors and causing their deaths has remained unsolved, but now, an arrest could be made in the case on General Hospital.

So far, two patients have been killed as well as Dr. Mayes, and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) was attacked and almost died when he walked in on the killer trying to give Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) the fatal dose of the medicine that had been used to commit the crimes. And though there did appear to be sufficient evidence against Finn and he was suspended from the hospital, Dr. Mayes' death not long after cleared him, meaning it was still unknown who was making the hospital a more dangerous place to be.

However, Valerie (Brytni Sarpi) may have a break-through and will decide to make an arrest in the case. And to perhaps no one's surprise, the man she will target by pushing against a wall will be none other than Franco (Roger Howarth).

"Drop the flowers, put your arms out to your side," she orders Franco in a preview clip for the Friday, July 29 episode.

Franco will be outraged that he has been targeted as the possible killer once again, because he has sworn that he changed and turned over a new leaf a long time ago, with his last known crimes being when he and Nina (Michelle Stafford) were both still criminal, and they ran off to Canada with Ava's (Maura West) daughter, Avery. He will also be upset because he had gone to the hospital to deliver the flowers to Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), who had finally agreed to go out on a date with him .

Of course, if she hears about his arrest, his hopes for someone new in his romantic life will be tossed quickly as well, because Elizabeth will refuse to date him if she believes he's a criminal. And unfortunately for Franco, she may very well hear about what has happened after Griffin (Matt Cohen) spots her looking troubled and assumes the reason is because of him.

"Something's troubling you," Griffin says in the clip. 'Is it Franco?"

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
