Lady Gaga fans have been dying for new information on her highly anticipated fifth album, and this new interview with Mark Ronson is some good news.

Gaga has been collaborating with Ronson, producer of such mega-hits as "Uptown Funk" and Amy Winehouse's "Rehab", throughout the year for her new album. Details regarding the album, colloquially referred to by fans as "LG5", have been kept under wraps, but Ronson just revealed in a new interview how he feels very strongly about the quality of the songs.

"We've been working on this record for a while," Ronson told Zane Lowe on Apple Music Beats 1 this week. "I can't really get into it too much - I'm not trying to be coy, but I feel like it's not my place. When the time's right to tell the story, I feel like she should tell."

He added that Gaga's new album is "some of my favorite music I've really ever worked on. It's incredible - I love it. It's very rare you're working on something and you go to bed at 3 a.m. in the morning and you wake up at 8 a.m. and you just cannot wait to get back to the studio to work on that thing you want to work on."

Ronson also added that some of his "favorite musicians of all time" are working on the album.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen when Gaga will release any details about "LG5". She told reporters at the Golden Globes earlier this year that the album was coming out in 2016, but she has mostly been quiet about it ever since. It's possible she could be gearing up for a surprise release, much like Beyoncé's last two albums, or she could be planning something else entirely.

Either way, if Ronson's words are true, music fans may have to hold on to their hats for what's about to come from Gaga.
