Two very popular American Horror Story actresses have officially confirmed their returns for season 6!

Sarah Paulson and Lady Gaga have revealed that they will have roles in season 6 of American Horror Story. While this was assumed and rumored for months, they both announced their involvement officially on Tuesday.

Paulson revealed that she was in the season 6 cast at the Television Critics Association press tour. The actress did not reveal any other details about her character or the season's theme, which continues to be kept under wraps.

As for Gaga, the pop superstar admitted back in March that she was coming back to American Horror Story in the future, but she did not indicate exactly when. But now, Gaga uploaded a new photo to Instagram with a caption that confirmed her being in season 6.

"Back to work!" she wrote in the caption. "#ahsseason6 #ahs #acting not the countess but...who???"

Angela Bassett, Cheyenne Jackson and Coven guest star Leslie Jordan have all previously revealed their involvement with season 6.

FX Networks CEO John Landgraf also revealed at the TCA press tour on Tuesday that many of the trailers released thus far are not true to the season's actual theme.

Landgraf admitted that marketing team "went out and created many more trailers than you've actually seen for hypothetical seasons of 'American Horror Story', in different genres, different places. One of them is accurate, and the others are all misdirects."

The CEO also said that there is a confirmed theme, but they will essentially be keeping it secret until the September premiere date.

"We're not going to reveal it because we think it will be fun for the audience to have the surprise this year," he teased.

This would be a huge change from the normal marketing for new seasons of American Horror Story, which often includes glimpses of the actors in character, a plot synopsis and more.

American Horror Story season 6 premieres Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
