Star Wars is ready to open the floodgates on Han Solo's rogues' gallery of friends - the smuggler's spinoff is looking for a young Lando Calrissian.

Calrissian will eventually become the Cloud City baron that betrayed Han in "The Empire Strikes Back" and the Rebel general that redeemed himself in "Return of the Jedi," but, as the 2018 film heads back in time, he will be the outlaw who ultimately lost the Millennium Falcon in a game of sabacc.

The film has reportedly sent out a call for the character under the code name "Chance," according to The Wrap. Little is known about the role as LucasFilm has yet to comment. You can, however, get a glimpse at Han Solo's legendary blaster in the photo below:

Still untitled, the Han Solo retrospect will become the second of the Star Wars anthology films. Alden Ehrenreich snagged the titular role back in May, which he will perform under the direction of 21 Jump Street's Chris Miller and Phil Lord. Set for a May 25, 2018 release, the film will become the franchises' second anthology edition. First up is Rogue One, another pre-New Hope story that will focus on a group of ordinary individuals who band together to steel the plans for the Death Star.
