American Horror Story fans who didn't get to experience the virtual reality experience at San Diego Comic-Con can still experience something just as spooky this fall.

American Horror Story is officially coming to Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. Beginning Sept. 16, fans will get to experience the horror of the series in Universal's Halloween Horror Nights, according to a new press release.

Fans will be able to enter some seriously scary mazes inspired by season 1, Murder House, season 4, Freak Show and season 5, Hotel. The mazes will feature iconic characters from these seasons, like Freak Show's Twisty the Clown and try to escape unscathed.

"'American Horror Story' is one of the most disturbing television shows ever produced, and with such perverse storylines unfolding with each installment, 'Halloween Horror Nights' is undoubtedly the only place that could create a living version of the nightmares that Ryan Murphy dreams up," John Murdy, Creative Director at Universal Studios Hollywood and Executive Producer of Halloween Horror Nights, said in the press release. "Plus, as a fan favorite, 'American Horror Story' has been the number one requested maze from our guests and we're excited to let them know that we listened to them and are bringing 'American Horror Story' to life."

Michael Aiello, Director of Entertainment Creative Development for Universal Orlando Resort, stated that AHS "is engaging for so many reasons, one of them being the fantastic way each installment of the series reveals completely new characters and stories for its viewers It's that constant evolution that makes this popular series a perfect fit for Halloween Horror Nights - and we can't wait for our guests to experience some of the horror they've seen on the show."

American Horror Story had a presence at Comic-Con this year with the terrifying VR Experience which sent fans through darkened hallways filled with all sorts of creepy elements; it was a huge hit.

American Horror Story season 6 premieres Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
