The FBI arrested Everett Dutschke, 41 of Tupelo, Mississippi in connection with a letter addressed to President Barack Obama laced with ricin.

The man, who is reportedly a martial arts instructor, was charged with possessing, developing and stockpiling ricin and a delivery system to use as a weapon, according to Fox News.

Dutschke is scheduled to appear Monday in a federal court in Mississippi. If found guilty he can be sentenced to life in prison.

The ricin letter was sent to Obama just days after the horrific Boston marathon bombing. It was intercepted at a screening facility.

Obama never came near the letter, as the screening facility is away from the White House where he resides.

The letter to Obama was one of two sent by the same sender. The second was sent to Mississippi Senator Roger Wicker.
