The first group of inmates identified several problems in the Clark County Correctional Facility during the premiere season of 60 Days In, but work still needs to be done, and now, a second group's experience in the prison is officially underway.

In a preview clip for the season two premiere, Sheriff Jamey Noel will bring new undercover prisoners-Quintin, Monalisa, Dion, Chris, Brian, Ashleigh, Ryan and Sheri-into the prison to begin serving their sentences. But despite the changes that may have been put in place to make sure some of the things the first group witnessed weren't still happening, things are still far from good at Clark County.

And not only will Sheriff Jamey possibly learn that his prison is still being run into the ground by perhaps both corrupt cops and out of control inmates, but his new volunteers will also quickly learn that these 60 days are not going to be easy on them, and that they may have signed up for more than they ever expected.

"I get people do stuff to get in there," Dion says in a preview clip for the Thursday, August 18 episode. "But they treat us like animals and keep beating you down."

And as he and the others see what's going on around them, and what they themselves may go through as both the inmates and the guards potentially treat them horribly, and they see that this experience will be one which changes their lives. But even as they realize that their lives will never be the same after their experience, they will also realize just how horrible the situation is, and note that it needs to be changed.

"It's terrible that we got to live like that," Dion says in the clip.

60 Days In season 2 premieres Thursday, August 18 at 9 p.m. on A&E
