Rihanna has shown love for Drake on a new level after he gave her the ultimate shout out at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards earlier this week.

The island beauty showed off a new tattoo that was very similar to the camouflage shark Drake gifted her with recently.

Tattoo parlor Bang Bang in New York City posted a snapshot of the ink with the caption, “Camo shark for my dear friend @badgalriri…”

  Rihanna also had a few words of her own for Drake as she thanked everyone who supported her during the awards show as she received the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. She hit the stage four times and Drake presented her with the honor as he described her as “someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22-years-old.” While she thanked the likes of actress Tracee Ellis Ross and singer Mary J. Blige, she told her rumored boyfriend, “Your speech was so touching and I love you for that! All in all…Best night ever!!! I’m a lucky girl!!! To God be the Glory! #RiRiVanguard”

Though Drake and Rihanna seem to be out and about with their reported romance, rumors have swirled that he was the one who was putting their relationship on hold.

“She’s always been into him,” an insider told Page Six on Aug. 31. “It’s him, not her, who has been backing off the relationship.”

They were spotted together at E11even in Miami Tuesday night as Drake hit the stage in the city for his Summer 2016 Tour.

“Drake’s father [Dennis Graham] was there and has given his blessing to the relationship. As they were snuggling up, Drake’s dad was standing on a banquette behind them hugging them.”

They added that more than 20 bodyguards made sure no one got too close.
