Storage Wars have dropped three more of their well-known regulars including Darrell Sheets and Dan and Laura Dotson.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, the reasoning behind the cuts is money.

"It seems as if they are going after some of the higher paid cast members," said a source, according to The Hollywood Gossip. "Meanwhile they are expanding the franchise."

However, others allege that the cutbacks have to do with the David Hester lawsuit against the A&E bidding show.

According to Radar, Hester filed suit against the show after he was fired following a discussion of rigging allegations that he brought to the attention of higher ups.

The lawsuit claims that the show is deceiving viewers through such actions as rigging the bidding and placing high value items into the storage units in order to make the program more exciting. Moreover, he claimed that he and other cast members had brought this topic to A&E's senior vice president of talent and production, Neil Cohen.

According to The Epoch Times, the show met the conditions of Sheet's contract but then went on to film six more episodes without him in the show.

The Dotsons, auctioneers, are also displeased about their situation.

"They make good money and they need the money. Suddenly the show just told them, 'We don't need you for this episode.' And then it happened again," a source told Radar. "So they've been battling to stay on the air, and they are worried about their futures. The show is a gold mine."

Cast members have yet to find out about contracts for next season.
