Rapper Akon is living the good life in his Georgia mansion, but he's reportedly not paying the bills to fix up the place.

TMZ reports that a contracting company is suing Akon for nearly $52,000 still owed for construction work done on his $1.65 million dollar Georgia home.

Southern Electric filed suit in Georgia Superior Court, saying the company completed over $344,000 worth of construction on Akon's home, including electrical work, framing and molding, but he's refused to pay the remaining invoice of $51,941.

The contractors even contacted Akon's mother, who also acts as his agent, to try to collect, but are still out the money. They're now suing for breach of contract for the amount allegedly owed, plus interest.

There's no response yet from the rapper.
