Pokemon GO recently lost its place as the top-grossing mobile game in the market, with veteran Clash Royale retaking its spot as the most lucrative game on the market. Despite this, however, Pokemon GO was in dire need of an update, in order to attract old and new players alike. Recently, Niantic did update the game, but the contents of the most recent patch have divided the Pokemon GO community.

One thing that the most recent Pokemon GO update really improves is the Pokemon GO Plus accessory, according to Android Community. When the wearable device was first introduced, it appeared to have very few useful features, and early reviews of the device were lukewarm at best.

With the new update, however, the Pokemon GO Plus accessory just became a lot more useful, since the device could now be used to capture Pokemon that are attracted by Incense. Previously. The device could only be used on creatures that spawn in the wild.  

Niantic's most recent update to the game appeared to be a very minor one, with the developer simply initiating a number of bug fixes for the game and introducing a new feature, called capture location, stated Phone Arena. The new feature does not affect gameplay at all, however, since it simply shows players where specific Pokemon have been caught.

While the feature might seem useless to many, a number of avid Pokemon GO fans have stated that the capture location feature might be very vital for the hit augmented reality mobile game's future updates. Some even speculate that the capture location feature might very well be connected to the upcoming trading feature in the game, which is all but confirmed thanks to resourceful and creative data miners.

Thus, while the recent Pokemon GO update might be slightly underwhelming to many, there is a good chance that for Niantic, everything is simply going according to plan.
