She has come to terms with his saying he wants a divorce and won't let her reconcile with him, but Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will work to unsettle Jack (Peter Bergmann) and make sure he still has to deal with her after their marriage is officially over on The Young and the Restless.

When Michael (Christian LeBlanc) told her that Jack would not take back his petition, she said she would only want to get her job back at Jabot, and if she could have that, then she would grant him the divorce free and clear, without forcing him to give her any of his money. Now, Michael will bring her terms to Jack, and he will be outraged when he learns her demands.

"She's willing to give you the divorce free and clear, but there's one condition," Michael says in a preview clip for the Friday, September 30 episode.

Jack will explode when he realizes what Phyllis is demanding, and will storm off to her current residence at SUmmer's (Hunter King) apartment to confront her. However, he will realize just how serious she is about still working at his company when she then threatens to up the ante if he doesn't accept, by reminding him there is no pre-nup, and if she wants, she can go for half his stake in the ownership of the company. Realizing she has him backed into a corner, she will declare herself a winner and prepare to return to the company.

Knowing his hands are tied, Jack will then decide that he won't make her return to Jabot easy on her, and will instead make sure that she is so miserable working there that she might wind up quitting on her own. After her cushy past position and nice office, Jack will essentially demote her, and will bring her to a windowless little office and force her to start working on a large amount of paperwork that he expects her to complete by morning, effectively letting her know that he isn't going to let her off easy in the least bit.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
