It's official! "Thor: Ragnarok" will feature Dr. Strange and his role in the Norse god's life is extremely crucial. Also, the Hulk and Bruce Banner may become two separate entities, thanks to Loki's plans.

"Thor: Ragnarok" will not just feature two Marvel superheroes, but three. Earlier in May, it was revealed that the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) will be making an appearance on the third film about Thor (Chris Hemsworth). Recently, the addition of Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) has been confirmed as well.

The reason as to why the Marvel doctor is needed by the Norse God is still unclear. This is why speculations about the need for Dr. Strange in the film are all over the internet. According to Movie News Guide, Thor will be needing a doctor to cure something. What exactly will Dr. Strange cure?

Rumor has it that in "Thor: Ragnarok" the Norse god's powerful hammer, Mjolnir, will be damaged. This plot is taken by fans from one of the stories in the comic book version when Thor fights against the Skrulls and the hammer gets broken.

In the film however, the damage may be a result of a battle between Thor and Korg, an alien whose main objective is to get rid of the god. Where does Dr. Strange come in? The movie is set after the "Dr. Strange" film and therefore, people can assume that the sorcerer has already harnessed his powers.

These powers could be the answer to fix Mjolnir. Thus, there is a dire need for Dr. Strange. He might be the one to put the hammer back together as if nothing happened to it.

Meanwhile, as Thor may be busy trying to find ways to have his hammer fixed, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) may be cooking something nasty. Ecumenical News alleged that Thor's brother will try to separate the Hulk from Bruce Banner. This way, as a pure creature of destruction, it will be easier for Loki to manipulate the Hulk to follow his command.

With Bruce Banner not being able to control his alter ego, it will be easy for the Hulk to wreak havoc in Asgard. It is for this reason that the green superhero will battle with Thor.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is the last installment in the films about the Norse god that is why everyone may be pulling all the stops to make it the best film of the series. Find out if the rumors are true when the movie hits the cinemas in October of 2017.
