Fox is going to make "Bones" season 12 the best one yet by filling it with twists and surprises. Despite that, will Emily Deschanel & David Boreanaz characters have a happy ending?

GameNGuide reported that Fox will bring famous stars in the series finale. It was confirmed that Cindi Lauper will be returning to the show as Avalon Harmonia .  Nathan Gamble will also appear in the show as a teenager involved in a case that the team will be working on.

Meanwhile, Eddie McClintock will also make reappearance as Special Agent Tim Sullivan. He will cause some relationship problems between Deschanel's Brennan and Boreanaz's Booth. It was reported that Sully wanted to end some unfinished business with Brennan.

Ecumenical News reported that Booth and Brennan will renew their vows in the season finale of "Bones" Season 12. The two have proven the strength of their relationship by hurdling through different challenges and problems together.

Aside from that, the site also said that there is a possibility that the plotline for "Bones" Season 12 will also end strong. It was speculated that there will be a problem that will test the loyalty of the couple.

It is expected that "Bones" Season 12 will begin with an explosive storyline and it will involve Eric Millegan who will portray the role of Zack. In "Bones" Season 11 finale, Zack kidnapped Brennan and there are speculations that he is the serial killer "The Puppeteer." The show will begin in a chilling story of how Brennan survive in the hands of a serial killer.

Despite the twists and challenges, it is expected that "Bones" Season 12 will end with a positive note. Fans have witnessed Booth and Brennan grow as individuals and as a couple in the last 246 episodes.

"Bones" Season 12 is said to only have 12 episodes and it will air on Fox sometime in 2017.
