In the upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, Stefan (Paul Wesley) will make sure that Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) will not hurt someone from his past. On the other hand, Sybil (Nathalie Kelley) will try to get inside Damon's mind.

According to Vine Report, Damon and Enzo are planning to hurt someone close to Stefan. With the help of Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Caroline (Candice King) they will try to stop Damon and Enzo as the trip head to North Carolina.

While trying to stop Damon, Bonnie will also take drastic measures in order to help Enzo break free of whatever has hold them to doing evil things. This will continue until "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 Episode 3 as Bonnie will find herself at the center of a deadly game in the quest to save Enzo from the evil force that controls him.

Meanwhile, Alaric (Matt Davis) and Georgie (guest star Allison Scagliotti) stumbles something back in the armory. They find a mysterious symbol which can help Damon and Enzo fight the evil force that is controlling them. Tyler Lockwood (guest star Michael Trevino) will also try to talk some sense into Damon before he can do something that he will regret.

International Business Times reported that Sybil (Nathalie Kelley) will be interested in Damon's mind. She has been struggling to get inside his head so this time she tries to see where his mind goes. In the promo video for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 Episode 2, Sybil sees Damon's weakness as she sees Elena (Nina Dobrev) in his memories.

There may also be romantic scenes in the next episode as the synopsis reveals that Caroline will receive an unexpected surprise from Stefan. It seems like things are going well between the two.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 Episode 2 titled "Today Will Be Different" will air on The CW on Oct. 28.
