Just over a month after Kim Kardashian West was robbed of almost $11 million in jewelry, she is doing an overhaul in her security team.

Kardashian West has decided to move on from some of the members in her security team, including main bodyguard Pascal Duvier, Entertainment Tonight reports.

"Pascal, along with a couple other security members of their team, were recently let go by Kim and Kanye," a source tells the publication. "It's a pretty tough situation overall and they love Pascal, but they couldn't take any more chances."

It's not clear if Duvier's departure was a direct result of his not being there when Kardashian West was robbed. The bodyguard was out with Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner in Paris when the incident happened, with Kardashian West being left alone in her hotel apartment.

When Duvier was contacted, he rushed to the scene and arrived at Kardashian West's hotel two minutes after the robbers left.

Regardless, Duvier has already found other work.

"He's moving on," the source reveals. "He will be working with Fergie for her upcoming shows when her album drops."

Meanwhile, Duvier's mother, Barbe Duvier, was shocked when she heard the news that he was being let go.

"You have told me something I didn't know,' she tells MailOnline, of her son being fired. "I always thought they had a very good relationship, that is what he always led me to believe. If this is true he will be very hurt. I don't know why she would have taken such a step. I am shocked to hear it."

Kardashian West is slowly but surely working her way back into the limelight after taking a full month off to recover. The reality star was seen at husband Kanye West's concert this past week and has since resurfaced on social media.
